THE MYSTERIOUS CASE OF THE STOLEN CALIX

My name is Helena Bygone. I’m Head Scientist at International Nature Forensics. My good friend Oriel Sterling is in big trouble!!! He’s been accused of stealing the precious seed of the Calix, an extremely rare tree that his great grandmother Beatrice brought back from an expedition 100 years ago…. It’s been buried in secret at Sevenoaks Prep for all this time but now it’s been stolen!
Tons of hands-on fieldwork experimentation and forensics: you’ll be securing the crime scene, collecting forensics and evidence, breaking nature codes, identifying poisons, tracking footsteps, building camouflaged lookouts, laying a bait, and hopefully catching the thief to recover the precious seed.

DESTINATION JUNGLE
In the deep canopy of the Indonesian jungle live the rainforest people: the tree-dwelling Korowai, the wood carving Asmat, the Dani warriors, the proud Baduy… They hold the secret to jungle survival!
A bushcraft mission rooted in the discovery of survival in the forests of south east Asia with plenty of thrills. You‘ll have a go at building a natural frame shelter, you’ll get to cook rice cakes and fish in banana leaves, you’ll learn how to make and use jungle spears and how to start a fire using bamboo friction. The mission will conclude with a showcase to parents and Indonesian banana fritters around the fire!
