When we were gifted a bottle of Pipehouse Pink Grapefruit & Thyme Gin, we couldn’t wait to try out their delicious Grapefruit Frosé Cocktail featuring their special gin, frozen rosé and fresh grapefruit juice – simply put… Summer in a glass!

Pipehouse Gin is a small batch flavoured gin distillery, based just yards from the original Tunbridge Wells Pipe House. The team of gin alchemists experiment with beautiful botanical pairings.

Pipehouse Pink Grapefruit Frosé

This boozy little number is a great party cocktail and perfect for the summer!

Ingredients:

Yields one cocktail.

  • 200ml of frozen rosé
  • 50ml of Pipehouse Pink Grapefruit and Thyme Gin
  • 125ml of freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice
  • 25ml of sugar syrup
  • Sparkling water to top
  • Ice
  • Fresh thyme sprig and pink grapefruit slice to garnish

Freeze the Rosé in ice cube trays overnight. We like to choose a deep pink rosé for a beautiful bright cocktail.  Once frozen, take out of the freezer and loosen the rosé to a drinkable consistency with a fork, or in a blender, and pour into a glass.

In a shaker, pour gin, grapefruit juice, and sugar syrup. Add a big scoop of ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. The cocktail shaker should feel ice cold in your hands.

Pour from the cocktail shaker over the frozen rosé. Top with sparkling water. Garnish with fresh thyme and pink grapefruit.
