The Old Rectory is a luxury boutique guesthouse situated in the Old Town part of Hastings. An hour’s drive from Sevenoaks, it is the perfect relaxing break by the sea if you want to get away from it all or have a special occasion to celebrate.

This beautiful guesthouse welcomes everyone, catering for couples, families plus small or large groups of friends. It even boasts a wedding licence making it the perfect venue for an intimate wedding.
The Old Rectory has a lovely homely feel, with stunning walled gardens and mostly operates on a bed and breakfast basis. A cosy lounge with an honesty bar and open fire; a large spacious and welcoming hall filled with stylish furniture and a breakfast room, which converts into a dinning room when required. The Crown Room where we stayed was large and stylishly decorated with a roll top bath, actually in the room!

The surprises keep coming and it would be a shame to spoil it for you, but there are some lovely treats waiting for each guest when they first arrive.
What makes The Old Rectory unique is their treatment rooms. So a weekend away really does turn into something special, if you, like us treat yourself to some pamper time. The list of treatments they provide is comprehensive and Lucy runs the treatment rooms with care and professionalism. I have been fortunate to have many massages in different countries, but Lucy’s massage was just perfect.

The breakfasts at The Old Rectory are simply incredible and the full english is one of the best I have ever tasted. Rob, the hugely talented chef makes his own sausages and baked beans as well as curing his own bacon. All ingredients are sourced locally and all prepared on site.
We had the most wonderful relaxing stay at The Old Rectory and I highly recommend you visit it!
