Following on from last year’s Nativity! The Musical, Trinity Theatre Productions is proud to present Elf The Musical this December! Bring the whole family to experience the magic, laughter, and wonder of one of your favourite Christmas stories brought to life on the Trinity stage.

Elf The Musical tells the funny and heartwarming story of Buddy, a human who accidentally crawls into Santa’s sack as a baby and is raised by elves at the North Pole. Growing up, Buddy quickly realises he doesn’t quite fit in — he’s far too tall and not exactly the best elf for the job. When Santa finally reveals the truth about his past, Buddy sets off to New York City in search of his birth father, who turns out to be firmly on the naughty list. After spreading festive chaos across Manhattan, Buddy discovers the true meaning of family, friendship, and love.

Packed with catchy songs, dazzling choreography, and laugh-out-loud comedy, Trinity Theatre’s production is a joyful celebration of local talent. Audiences can look forward to a giant candy cane journey from the North Pole, colourful costumes, energetic performances from community stars, magical moments, and even an audience snowball fight.

Based on the book by Bob Martin and Thomas Meehan, which was adapted from the New Line Cinema film written by David Berenbaum, with an original score by Matt Sklar and Chad Beguelin, this uplifting musical is perfect for longtime fans and newcomers alike. As Buddy would say, “You’d have to be a cotton-headed ninny muggins” to miss this heartwarming, feel-good extravaganza.
