Emma is an exceptional employment lawyer. She’s Head of Employment and the firms Commercial
Group, incorporating education, corporate & commercial and dispute resolution. Her work ethic is focused and committed, and she was recently awarded the ‘Growth’ category at the Kent Women in Business Awards 2025, and in receiving the award, gave credit to her team. Beyond her legal commitments, Emma’s responsibilities are to lead the firm on technology, business development, strategic recruitment and people projects. Emma is approachable, knowledgeable, respected and respectful. She’s a lady to have in your corner. Outside of the business, Emma’s mum to two boys, who often pop into the office during school holidays and have been super helpful to the marketing team, in the run up to events.
Vikki is a property lawyer and Head of the firms’ Real Estate offering, which includes commercial
property, residential conveyancing, new build and leasehold enfranchisement. Vikki’s passionate about property, and having qualified in commercial property law, she went on to extend her skills into the niche area of leasehold reform. Her expertise has established her as a leading specialist, and her reputation for insightful guidance, is so strong, that competitors seek her guidance, particularly regarding enfranchisement. Her continually expanding team, now positions Thackray Williams’ Leasehold Team, as one of the largest, ‘specialist teams’, in the sector, outside of central London. Beyond her legal commitments, Vikki’s responsibilities are to lead the firm on business development, risk & compliance and client service. Vikki is knowledgeable, patient and considered and highly respected by her clients and colleagues. Outside of the business, Vikki’s mum to a son and daughter, who are both as active as each other. You’ll always find Vikki on the side lines cheering them on.
Anthony is a highly experienced and STEP-accredited private client lawyer, and Head of the firm’s
Private Wealth Group, bringing together the family law and private client teams. He’s known for offering
straightforward, clear, and insightful guidance. Clients appreciate his skill as he navigates complex estate matters, particularly for those with significant wealth, as too his focused knowledge in tax
planning. Beyond his legal work, Anthony is responsible for the firm’s financial operations, performance and business analysis. Outside of the business, Anthony’s a dedicated father of three, endlessly exploring new and exciting adventures with his family.
