8 Super Pumpkin Picking places to go

St Julian’s Club (members only)
On Saturday 24 October, 12-3pm, hunt for your perfect pumpkin in the St Julians pumpkin patch. Take home one of their homegrown pumpkins and capture the moment in their pumpkin photo corner.

The Montreal Estate
Pick your own pumpkins and enjoy a spooky maize maze, carving, delicious local food and much more. Various dates ranging from 2 October – 31 October. £13 per car includes 1 pumpkin and Maize entry. Book your spot here.

Hewitts Farm PYO
Open from 1 October – no need to book, just turn up! Opening times Tuesday – Saturday 9am-4.30pm (last entry 4pm) Sundays 10am-4pm (last entry 3pm). Check their PYO FB page for updates.

Birchden PYO Pumpkins (new location at the top of Groombridge Hill)
Starting from 3 October until 31 October, 10-4:30pm (various wkend dates). Come and Pick Your Own pumpkins at Groombridge Hill this October! They have over 18000 pumpkins spread over a 5 acre patch waiting for you. Pumpkin prices start at £1 and go up depending on the size you choose. £5 per car. A perfect day out! The Spadework Charity PYO Pumpkins
All the proceeds from their PYO pumpkin garden are used to support the work they do to enable people to be more independent, and to lead healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives. PYO is on until 31 October. No need to book – open Mon – Sat, 9am – 5pm and Sun,  10am – 4pm (free entry).

Pumpkin Moon
Their Pumpkin Moon Farms return for October 2026. Over 100 different varieties of PYO pumpkin, squash & gourd at Maidstone, Rainham & Faversham in Kent. Pre booking is essential. Ticket prices start from £2.75 (weekdays) and £3.75 (weekends). Children under 2 go free.

Four Winds Farm
Join them for family fun on their pumpkin patch. New location: Pumpkin Field Poundsbridge Lane. Opens from 17 – 31 October. Tickets will need to be pre purchased – £2 (+ 75p booking fee)  per vehicle. Various timed sessions to chose from. Book your tickets here.

Lower Ladysden Farm
PYO Pumpkin Festival & Pumpkin Nights starts on 1 October. There are tonnes of varieties of pumpkins, squashes and gourds in all different shapes, sizes and colours so there’s something for everyone whether that’s for carving or cooking. Book your tickets here.

Lullingstone Castle Halloween Magic
On 31st October – 11am – 6pm, join Lullingstone Castle to celebrate Halloween magic on their last day of the season; pumpkin carving, spooky garden tours and more – perfect for all the family. Tom will give garden tours at 1pm and a dusk tour at 5pm, learn about the origins of pumpkins, colours and varieties and children can spot the Halloween tricks in eerie torchlight! There will also be a Halloween inspired Zoolab session where children can meet creepy critters. Fancy dress is welcome. Admission price – £13.50 adult – children under 16 go FREE.

Woodland Pumpkin Carving & Craft at Trosley
On 24 October, 10:30-12, join Trosley Country Park for a fun-filled pumpkin carving session. Choose your pumpkin and get creative with your own spooky design, then make a spooky craft to take home, £10. Book your ticket here.

Halloween Trail at Betteshanger Park, Deal
This October 17-18, the park transforms into a spook-tacular adventure for all ages! Follow their Halloween Trail through the winding woodland paths, solving riddles and spotting spooky surprises. Plus from 24 Oct – 1 Nov you can also enjoy their Pumpkin Patch. On 30 October, enjoy a free Halloween Party day for all the family.

Castle Farm
The farm has a beautiful pumpkin patch where they grow a variety of Pumpkins and Squashes. They cut by hand, and bring them outside the shop for you to be able to choose your perfect pumpkin for cooking, or just for decoration.

Halloween Hocus Pocus at Lullingstone Country Park
On Friday 30 October, join Lullingstone Country Park to make some spooky craft, including a wand and a broom stick and enjoy hot chocolate, a spooky tale and toast a marshmallow around the fire. Book your tickets here.
