Description
A special owl evening for a families with children.
Are owls really wise? And why they are so noisy at this time of year?
Bring your family for an evening stroll at Bore Place with bird expert Tom Forward, as we follow the sounds of the night in search of our resident owls. With their hoots echoing through the trees, we’ll learn more about these fascinating nocturnal hunters and their habitats. Using thermal imaging equipment, we’ll also keep an eye out for other wildlife such as hares and deer that become more active by night. This is a great opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of nature after sunset!
Of course we’ll be aiming to hear and see some owls (and will do our best!), but please bear in mind that we can’t control the wildlife and there’s a chance the owls might not cooperate!
