Lovely, down to earth coaches and a great bunch of ladies. Having joined as a complete beginner, two years later I am still a running and improving, thanks to the great coaching and fantastic all round support.

A super friendly and effective running club. I joined as a beginner in September last year aged 40 when my baby was 4 months old and my son 2 years old. I never ran before and within 5 months, not only have I lost all my baby weight and more (tummy is still wobbly!), I completed a 10k run without stopping in a decent time! In addition to weight loss and greatly improved fitness, SLJ has become my haven and escape from the mess, noise and chaos of 2 small children. The coaches and other ladies are all friendly and supportive and you really can dramatically improve your fitness and become a \'runner\' in a relatively short space of time. It isn\'t easy and you have to put the effort in but running in glorious Knole park in the company of a friendly gang eases the pain. Give it a try!

A wonderful, supportive friendly running club that enabled me to start as a beginner, having never run before, to 3 years later running a half marathon. I have made so many friends along the way. Thank you Sam, Jane, Hazel, Helen and the rest of the team
