This half-term is all about Halloween of course so make sure you check out the themed trails, ghost tours, scary tales, pumpkin carving, crafts and much more. Emmetts Garden

Emmetts Garden in Ide Hill ask are you brave enough to visit their spooky Edwardian themed tour and roam amongst their scariest trees and plants?


Hop Farm

Prices: £1 to enter. Some rides and attractions operate on a pay/play basis.

The Hop Farm has a lot of half term fun to be had! Make sure you go dressed in your best halloween costume and join in with all the fun. You will have a spook-tastic day full of great activities, including: pumpkin carving, best dressed competition, face painting, 4D cinema, indoor halloween entertainment, magic castle and so much more!


Kent Life

Kent Life are hosting a fantastic week full of family fun. How about trick or treating in the historic house? Join in with pumpkin carving, creepy critters and enter the fancy dress competition!


Kent Life After Dark

On October 25th Kent Life are welcoming you to visit after dark and explore their spooky sights! Are you daring enough to join the guided tour or visit the Ugly Bug Ball? How about a ride on their Land Train and hear a couple of ghostly stories?

Farm Life advise the guided tours are suitable for under 8’s between 6pm and 7pm and 8+ between 7pm and 8pm.

Prices: Adult £6.95 and for £4.95 children (3-15).

On the last day of the season Lullingstone have planned a perfect day for celebrating Halloween. There is a spooky house, pumpkin carving and fancy dress is very much encouraged! You will also be able to go on garden tours, where you will learn the origins of pumpkins, colours and varieties.


Hever Castle

Address: Hever Road, Hever, Edenbridge, TN8 7NG
Dates: 21st – 29th October

Are you ready to be spooked at Hever Castle this Halloween? There are terrifying tales of goblins, trolls, witches and vampires waiting to be heard. It doesn’t get much better than cupcake decorating, whilst completing an eerie halloween trail and competing for best creepily dressed! Are you ready to have a family fang-tastic time?


Penshurst Place

Address: Penshurst, TN11 8DG
Dates: 21st – 29th October

There will be trails all day throughout the formal gardens and spooky crafts in The Old Coach House from 12pm-4pm. Can you find the hidden ghost? If you can and take a selfie with it, you have the chance to win a family season ticket!


Leeds Castle

Address: Maidstone, ME17 1PL
Dates: 23rd – 29th October

Join in the fancy dress competition at 2pm each day, dance in the ‘Monster Mash Ball’ and enjoy taking part in the ghoulish games. Have fun looking for the witches and wizards within the Castle grounds ready to tell their spooky tales. Make sure to make a note on your trail card of the silly sorcerers making big mistakes! There is also a Woodland Walk on offer with a small additional charge.


Groombridge Place

Address: Groombridge Hill, Groombridge, Tunbridge Wells, TN3 9QG
Dates: 21st – 29th October

How about a trip to Groombridge Place this Halloween? Have fun meeting Captain Robinson Crusoe and his Crew of Skeletons who were ship wrecked in the Enchanted Forest, one stormy night. There will also be some scarily good shows, not to be missed!


Godinton House and Gardens

Dates: 23rd – 27th October, 1pm – 4pm
Price: House and Gardens ticket £9 for adults; garden only ticket £5. Children under 16 go free

A week of seasonal activities for families to enjoy. With daily activities from 1pm-4pm.
